Neville Johnson was established in 1987 to offer a bespoke fitted furniture product to corporate and commercial clients. By 1991, the company had identified a niche in the domestic market place to offer luxury fitted home study furniture to the ABC1 market.
Having initially concentrated on the home study market which the company created and defined, it then developed its product range to include other areas of the home. Fitted furniture for the bedroom, libraries and living areas are now all part of this luxury brand.
In 2010 Neville Johnson Staircase Renovations was launched, offering clients a service that was previously unavailable to them, except through local joiners and as such Neville Johnson literally created the market.
The acquisition of Tom Howley in 2011 provided a rapid entry into the high-end kitchen market. This venture has proved to be an additional lucrative and scalable business for the Group.
In 2014 The holding company was renamed Bespoke Home Interior Design Group (BHID) to better represent the growing group and provide a vehicle for further business acquisitions.
The most recent addition is the London Door Company, acquired at the end of 2017. The business specialises in providing handmade external and internal doors to discerning clients.
BHID is now the UK’s leading home interiors specialist, and the ‘go-to’ brand for high end clients who are looking to furnish any area of the home.
